Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
OnlyFoods ("we") operates onlyfoods.ge β a social platform for discovering the best places for your favorite dishes in Georgia. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. When you sign in with an email link we receive your email address. We create a profile for you (handle and display name) that you can edit at any time β profiles are public by default, and you can switch yours to private in your profile settings.
- Content you create. Votes, FoodLog posts, favorite dishes and places, follows, and restaurant suggestions. If your profile is public, content tied to it is visible to other visitors.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to run and secure the service, and your language preference.
- Restaurant claims. If you claim a restaurant page, we collect the name, role and phone number you enter, plus any email address or note you choose to add, together with which restaurant the claim is for and the account you were signed in with.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a language-preference cookie (stored for one year). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used with three tools: Google Firebase Analytics (counts page views; we do not send your identity, and page addresses that could identify a person are anonymized before sending), Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless traffic measurement), and the Top.ge counter (a Georgian web-traffic ranking service).
How we use data
We use data to operate OnlyFoods: signing you in, showing your profile and content, ranking dishes and places based on votes, improving the product with aggregate statistics, and keeping the platform safe. We do not sell your personal data.
If you claim a restaurant page, we use the contact details you provide only to verify your connection to that restaurant and to contact you about the claim. We do not use them for marketing.
Sharing
Infrastructure providers process data on our behalf to run the service: hosting (Railway), sign-in (Google), sign-in emails (Resend), analytics (Google, Cloudflare, Top.ge), and place search (Mapbox). They receive only what is needed to provide their service.
Content you publish under your public profile is public. We do not share your email address publicly.
Restaurant claims are delivered to our team's private Telegram channel so we can act on them, and are also stored in our own database. Telegram receives the details you submitted in the claim form.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. To delete your account and the personal data tied to it, contact us using the details below and we will process the request.
We keep restaurant claim submissions for as long as we need them to verify the claim and stay in contact about it. We review claims individually rather than on a fixed schedule, so we don't set a fixed deletion date. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time using the contact details below.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with an updated date.
